Qassam Rockets' Intentions
1,914 attempts at indiscriminate civilian mass murder as of the end of 2006. Palestinian militants attempting to mass-murder Israelis.
The visual: this video shows rockets by the pile.
Barbarity.

These are the “official” figures of deaths in this conflict September 28th, 2000 - February 15, 2006
Total Number Israeli deaths: 1113
Children: 113
Total Number of Palestinian deaths: 4209
Children: 892
Now I ask you, how is the "indiscriminate civilian mass murder" of Israelis any more horrible or barbaric than the indiscriminate mass murder of civilians that Israel perpetrates upon the Palestinians?
And then I would also be interested in this - how would you handle things if your livelihood (read: "land") was taken from you by force and held in defiance of international law? If you and your family and friends were treated like dogs, economically persecuted, and tormented by daily checkpoint, roadblocks and walls?
How can a person not look at the reality of life in that part of the world and not see that describing the Israelis as "commandos" and the Palestinians as "terrorists" is only one very narrow perspective, and it is not one shared by much of the world. If the U.S. was on the side of the Palestinians we'd be calling them "freedom fighters". The rhetoric is really empty and counter productive.
