Newsweek's Retraction

[Newsweek's Washington bureau chief:] "We think that people acted responsibly and professionally and ... there was no malice, no institutional bias, just a mistake that was made in good faith."
That's good faith? Reminds me of this:
Such reasoning recalls the wonderful line from the Costa-Gavras film "Z": "Always blame the Americans. Even when you're wrong, you're right."
